Help with FTVB

Just installed a FTVB and after driving it around I noticed no difference in the shifting any hints? I did everything exactly by the instructions.

after i put in the ftvb and before I put in my chip I didnt notice any tire chirping, but it did shift faster. After I put the chip in it hits a lot harder.

Disconnect the battery, bot pos and neg. turn on headlamp switch or touch the two disconnected wires together. This will clear the PCM of previously programmed shift patterns. Reconect the battery, pos first then neg. If you don't feel any difference then, I would be quite surprised.

It worked for me, big difference for about 200-300 miles. I guess it needs clearing once in a while to keep the PCM from ruining your fun.

If you cant tell a difference something is wrong. The shifts even just driving normally should be shorter and more firm. Right after the install I was barking the 1-2 every time at WOT. Before I installed mine i read on this board or another that the computer has to relearn the shifts like mentioned above. give it a couple hundred miles and see if it gets better, otherwise talk to Gregg himself.

good luck
