OK, I have all the bolt on's on my truck pulleys,air cleaner,chip etc.
I plan to get the new JDM supercharger too. But I have read about a few guys blowing head gaskets and throwing con rods.
I would like to build a spare engine- bottom end with the strong rods, crank, and pistons. I would like to use my stock heads with some port and valve work. Which block would be best to use? I want all the accessories to bolt on in the stock locations. Is a Lightning crate motor the answer? If you have done something like this before all feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

 

i hear the new 03 blocks are nice. make sure you get a forged ford crank, then if it were up to me id have it nitrided and cryoed. put some nice manley rods and some good pistons. you should be set to go on the bottom end. oh yea, when i was installing my long tubes i noticed that the exhaust ports could benefit from a good port job
