Oh and sorry to hear about the truck, **** like that is always lame, and its rare to catch the guys doing it, its not like the police really bother to investigate **** like that.

When you having a stereo/video system valued at 25K installed along with 6K dollar wheels....nothing is too extreme. After the paint, etc...this thing will have over 50K in aftermarket parts/works. Even though I'm not paying for it, why take chances?

In theory it sounds like an awsome set up.
Let me break it down for you....when the alarm goes off, the hidden camera inside the cab will film everything inside the cab, the hidden camera in the rollpan will film everything in the rear, and the hidden cam in the front will film everything in the front and transmit everything back to a small recording device hidden under the truck that is virtually impossible to find. Unless the truck is completely dismantled, a thief would never find it.

A thief would never know the truck has hidden cams recording everything.

better idea,

take some treble hooks from a fishing lure and place a couple of dozen inside the dash behind the head unit.

The next guy that tries to take it out will get his hands behind there and have a nice surprise.

At this point its probably an insurance claim for the damage he's done so who cares if part of that claim is steam cleaning to get the blood off the seats.

Thanks broly. The entire system was designed by the owner doing the install. Total out of my pocket is 7K (for the roll pan and body work, for Zapco amps, for full interior painting, a few other misc things, and head unit). Everything else (including labor) was through gifts/sponsorship from different companies.

Truck should be at SEMA in the Symbolic Wheels' booth.

Can't do that...thieves have rights too.

I've seen it before...where thieves sue and win. ...only in the US.

Not to mention that if you sell your truck, the next owner may get hooked.

I will just leave an empty pistol holdster on my seat in plain view. They would think twice
