Level 10 did a rebuild on my tranny about a 18 months ago and it is holding up well. BUT I am only making 500 ft lbs - But it is a daily driver... AND I tow a 5000 lb boat ...

So far so good. They really seemed like they knewtheir stuff - I watched them do the rebuild and was impressed.

Sounds like they have upgraded their process some.

Some Pics here of Level 10 and my rebuild to give you guys an idea who they are and what they do ...

Pat doesnt return my phone calls or emails BUT I wont hold that against them...

Doug

Here are my 3rd gear clutches - The tranny was still shifting fine when I had the rebuild done

Heres the new stuff they used on mine

No idea if they still use the raybestos blues....

Doug

Nice boat Doug! I pull my 3000# boat with a 4# pulley and no chip with no problems whatsoever! What kind of power package does your boat have? I have a Mercruiser 4.3L.

Did the snapple bottle end up in your tranny>??? I love putting suprises in customers transmissions. I put a couple goldfish in one guys. Not so sure how the tranny is holding up with the fishtank gravel in there though. -Mat-

Yeah man, that boat was the chit.....Had to sell it though because it only did 65 mph.....I'll be looking for another one next spring....

I'll be looking into 34 foot or better with twin 502's aboard....

FYI - This thread was split off the JL level 10 thread ... TO keep it on topic

That Baja is only about 7mph faster than my Regal. Need to run the tank down to 1/4 and pull all the crap out and trim it up to see what the real top speed is....

I really dont need more Top Speed - I would like more hole shot though....

I am currently running a 23p 3-blade aluminum (stock prop) with a top speed of 53-54 MPH. I just bought a 23p High Five 5-blade stainless off EBay. Now THAT should really improve my hole-shot! I will have to be careful not to pull off people's arms when skiing! I am not sure how it will effect my top end... I am guessing it will stat about the same.
