So me and some of my buddies are changing the plugs on my truck, all things are going well until the back passanger side throws us a curve. For some reason the socket wouldnt lock onto the plug. So after some frustation we decide to get the digital camera and take a picture to see what the heck is going on. The picture showed that the spark plug had split in half and the ceremic from the plug had wedged it self between the wall and where the socket would go on the plug and i cannot get it out. I have tried to vacuum it out, coat hanger, screw driver, nothing is working, have any of you experienced this or can give me ideas on how to get this out. once my friend gets his camera back he will post the pics

Use a 1/2" piece of "hard" copper plumbing pipe
to open the space between the top of the disintegrated
porcelin and the side wall enough to slide the socket on.

Lots of air hose action to blow the bits out before
you finally remove the plug ...

Good Luck ... Keep playing with it cause the alternative
is pull the head ...

The air hose sounds like a good idea. Maybe a screwdriver and hammer to bust the broken off piece into little pieces to be blown/vacuumed out?
