Raising the Lightning

Has anyone raised the front of the Lightning to even height with the rear? Would there be ride problems? Or any other problems?

There'd be UGLY problems...

Too high to begin with, then add more height to the front? Much easier to drop the back 2"...

That's probably the wrong question on this board. The last guy that posted something like that is still recovering from the thrashing. Good luck.

FWIW, you'll lose some handling. Lowering helps the handling by creating a lower center of gravity.

100 times easier to buy lowering chackles (find them used for $40) and lower the rear 2".

takes about 30 minutes to do and the only thing you need to adjust if you are ****, is the aim of the headlights.

I was wondering about this-do shackles worsen the handling as far as wheel hop/axle flex is concerned?

it helped mine.

lowering the rear, puts the pinion angle at a negative degree.
when you floor it, the axle will twist (just like stock) but hte angle will not be as severe.

go about 1/2 way down and read about the shackels
