300 miles on new truck and blew an F1!
Just driving along over a bridge at 65 mph yesterday in my 03 that I just pickup Friday and heard a "crack". Truck still drove fine. Drove another like 1.5 miles to where I was going, came out, got in the truck, and took off. Pulled out and goosed it a little bit and heard this weird azz sound. Pulled over and low and behold, rear driver's tire flat!
I have no idea what I hit. So I call my friend that works at the dealer and he starts looking around town for a new tire, but no one has one ANYWHERE!. He told me to change it and bringi it over so I did.
Then they tell me it is against the law to patch a Z-rated tire??? They patched ones on my old truck several times. They wouldn't do it, but we found a place in town that would. Not the right fix longterm, but ok for now.

Had the same thing happen on our '99. Except we had the entire sidewall blow out. Check out www.tirerack.com for new F1's at a good price.
