What needs to be done with these mods on a 2000L?

My friend just purchased a 2000 Lightning and is in the process of these mods. Shorty headers, stock cats, Bassani catback, 2# pulley, and C&L 95mm Cold air kit. He's got the exhaust on it now and also has a Predator Programer on order. Will he be alright without getting the chip reprogramed with just the Exhaust? Will the Predator be able to tune the truck sufficiently after he gets the other mods on?

I would cancel all of that. The headers wouldnt get any gains, the 2# pulley to small, the C&L 95 isnt neccesary. This what I would do if its a daily driver, get some hi-flow cats or no cats at all, 4-6# pulley, 01 and newer 90mm MAF with a cold air kit. With the money he would save he could get an Fact Tech valve body and upgrade to 3:73 gears.
