Just got a quote.

Just got a quote on doing a c-section. $375-$425 for th job. Seems a bit much but this is Scottsdale and it is a high end shop that garentees good work. Am I getting taken? I just want it done right because it is the frame we are taking about.

Truck goes in tommarrow, should I do it or look around more...

If you take your time, a C-Section really isn't that hard to do... especially if you get a couple big guys to help you take your bed off. Me personally, I was going to do my own c-section, but after I installed my flip-kit, I didn't like the way the truck sat so I sold the kit and im keeping my current drop.

Mr. Speedracer5, post this question on www.azloc.com. That's too much money. We can probably find somebody cheaper here in town. Your truck looks great, we need you in the club!!!

Heya Speedracer... listen to Jeff and come on by AZLOC. Matter of fact, the guy across the street from me builds lowered vehicles as a side job, and he does very nice work. He just had an '03 F150 (shortbed, reg cab, not an L though) that he put a flip kit on, c-notched the frame, and put new coils in the front, truck turned out very nice, and he got it done in an afternoon. I can put you in touch with him if you want, he's a good guy and knows what he is doing.

I know most people are leery about putting there truck in the hands of a guy workin out of his garage rather than a shop, but this guy knows his stuff, he will be the one doing the work on my L when it comes time to lower it. Plus, I'm right across the street, and there is no way I'd let anything happen to a fellow Lightning!
