Chip Burning Question?

I just switch from one brand of chip to another. The first chip down shifted at WOT from 30mph, the second brand does not. What's missing in the second chip? Higher redline, line pressure in the burn?...what can it be??

It can be any and all of those functions. Its impossible to compare all the different programmed characteristics of one chip to another. Good Luck

Call your tuner and ask him. Only thing people here can do is guess.

The chip will do what it's programmed to do. It's not the physical chip but what the software on the chip has been programmed to do. Your tuner will know the answer, if not, time for a new tuner.
