I have been a long time "lifted trucks only" kind of guy. in fact, i used to despise lowered trucks and trucks made or modded for speed. most of them happened to be Chevys i nmy area, but that is not the point. i was not a fan of Ls either. then, this past week I saw a nice lightning on a small street in Ontario, CA. white with blue flame patterns. it was behind me making a left turn like me. when we finished the left turn, he FLEW past me (I have an old volvo, awaiting delivery of my 04 F150). i mean, this sucker went nutso fast past me. the L was so smooth and so nice. sounded like a dream too. i was wishing i was driving more than my POS volvo so i could catch up and get another good look and listen. so that converted me. i am no longer a "truckist." i can't say I like the lowered duelies and such, but damn, I love the L now. props to all the L enthusiasts and owners. you love a fine truck!
