Drove HD with Kenne Bell today

I helped my neighbor install the KB on his HD Monday. I do have to admit, the install is VERY easy. It's a direct bolt on!!!!!

Today I drove it just to see what it was like.

His mods are: Bassani cat-back, JL tuned diablo chip, heat exhcanger, elec. fan, cobra R water pump

The blower is pullied for 12 psi. While driving I was getting about 13-14 psi.

Now my opinion.

It was a cool swap and upgrade, but pullied for 12 psi. I didn't feel much of a hp gain. It will be at the track thurs. night so the numbers will tell.

One thing for sure, it doesn't seem to pull that much down low, but once going (about 2nd gear), it DOES keep pulling.

Did you modify the bracket on the drivers side, the one that holds all the selinoids and vacuum thingies.

You have to make sure the boost actuator linkage moves freelly.

Yes, we grinded the bracket down on both sides like the instructions called for. Everything moved fine, the linkage wasn't kinked up in any way.

Maybe it's just me?? I'll see tomm. night and be able to tell if there are any improvements.
