JJ's help was much appreciated at the SSOTN event in the spring...and I am doing well. BUT, what does that have to do with my original question??

 

My opinions of JJ are based soley on the trouble he has caused here and the BS he has perpetrated against Steve and Myself over the years. It has NOTHING to do with the crazy *** stories that are going around about him - But they are entertaining

The fact that he has been banned repeatedly from every major lightning board on the internet Says something about him. Its clearly more than just a problem between he and I.

He causes enough trouble directly he doesn't need anyone to help that.

PS - Since I had 2 beers with dinner Ill add this - MANY people keep telling me that Grey 03 is JJ - When Grey 03 promoted a site that is clearly designed as a tool for/by JJ that helps people understand where Grey03 is coming from. They are clearly in bed together. Not sure if its mastubation or sex but they are clearly in bed together.

However - If you go back over the OLD threads from JJ - Whoever is typing Grey 03's posts appears to have amore level head and a better vocabulary than whoever typed JJ's. Or maybe the medications are working who knows - But there definately is a difference. Based on that alone I have questioned if Grey03 wasnt an amalgam of poeple all posting or helping post.

Honestly Doug, I am very disapointed in your post above. I have never disparaged you or this site, nor have I disparaged another current member or fellow Lightning enthusiast. I honestly thought that you held yourself to a higher standard and that you would be above this kind of defamation.

If having respect for the man and seeing his professional work ethic and attention to detail is considered "being in bed with him" then I guess I am.

Not that it matters all that much to you, but just for his own personal clarification, JJ wasnt banned from NLOC, he resigned from the lack of support that he was getting. If you do a search over there, you will find that his name and everything associated with him was removed by the owner. That is one reason why I have never joined that site. The only site that he was ever banned from was this site and he hasnt posted here in over a year under any name, and to be honest with you Doug, he really is too BUSY to bother with internet politics.

Dwight from NLOC tells a different story

His version is that JJ has signed back up repeatedly after being banned and Dwight continues to ban the new usernames as they pop up on a regular basis as well.
If here were that busy how come seem registers a new name at NLOC so frequently ? There was also something about how JJ expected to be vendor over there and NOT pay since he was "helping" JL or something. Pretty funny story the way I heard it. JJ was also banned from SVTPerformance and a few other boards as I recall. BUT I wouldnt expect him to tell his crew the truth. If he is so busy and so successful paying the fee to be a vendor at NLOC should be no problem. Until recently it was VERY low.

The Sex story was a metaphor, I knew that it might be misunderstood. It meant I wasn't sure if you and JJ were one person or 2. If you were in bed together and were 2 diff people it would be Sex and if you were one and the same person it would be masturbation. It wasn't a shot at you - Simply a poor metaphor.

As far as you never disparaging me or the people here - its clear that you have over and over. The little acronyms in the bottoms of your posts are taking childish shots at various people. I could If I had the time search thru and find many examples where your presence here served no function other than to take shots at people and stir up ****.

 

The way I saw it, JJ and JLP worked out a deal where they shared the same forum and the same vendor space on NLOC, and each paid half of the vendor fee. Dwight even OK'd that, and it was JL/JJ's forum. Then a post came up in the Admin section where JJ asked why he wasn't on the vendors list as JL/JJ (it just said JL), Dwight threw some of his famous angry smiley faces out, and JJ disappeared soon after.

I can't speak of NLOC though. There's just something not right there, not just towards JJ, but many members. I still have no clue why the former President (Jerry) and Dwight both attacked me out of nowhere. They had banned someone, saying that he wasn't a paying member; I pointed out that he was, and it seems they've been pissed at me since . Then through various actions of different users they've made repeated threats to close down the LOOM section, and ban many of us. Don't know, just seems like someone has their ear (a Wormtongue, if you will). I'm not defending JJ, I've just seen that some of the actions taken against him were also taken against many others. There's a huge ban trail on NLOC. There are a few people who are just not liked by the majority, so they are not welcome on any board.

Funny thing about perspectives though, any situation can be viewed many different ways, depending on who you want to listen to. I see much evidence that JJ is an instigator and a trouble maker, I also see evidence that he's been banned everywhere only because of the constant fighting between JDM and him, and the attacks that were produced from that.
I hate the situation, the bitching, the moaning, the constant fighting between vendors. But, I like to think that I'm aware enough to know that problems are not just one-sided, and that there's always someone on both ends fanning the flames.

Thats the funny thing is that the few issues that I get to hear both sides of, there is ALWAYS details that didnt make it to the internet or pieces that were left out.

Unfortunately, there is a lot of information that gets left out of discussions like these. Mainly because they no longer exist. I'm a very open-information person, write open-source software, and believe in archives. Others (not aimed at the staff here at F150o) see facts come up that might raise questions, so they just delete the thread/post/information. The only people that know are the ones that were involved, or those who saw the thread in the 10 minutes that it existed. It makes it easier for the person discredited to say "No, I did not say that. There's no proof of it." And they're right, the proof is gone. <Shrug> People always talk about vendor bias on the boards. I overlook most of it, but it pains me when I do see a thread/post edited or deleted because it brings out facts against certain vendors. That's the vendor bias that I see, and what really irks me.

I do have to commend Steve and Doug here for just locking the threads and letting them lie, so that if someone was willing to research, they can piece together a very intricate story.


On another topic, multiple screen names. The general concensus is that having them is an ultimate sin. I've used them in the past, and recommended them to others. For some readers, as they read these replies made by me, they'll immediately assume that they are to defend JJ (even though that's not my intent), so they'll immediately discredit all I say and move on. If I wrote the same message under a screen name, the bias veil is lifted, and maybe they'll give the post the same due regard as they would any other post. However, it seems the opposite on this forum, where 5% might read it, and the other 95% spend their time seeing if it is a multiple user name, so that they can more easily discredit it. People like discrediting things that go against their form of beliefs, makes their lives more comfortable

 

I do not think Grey03 is JJ but someone that has not posted in a while. I may be guessing but I think the answer is near. (think white truck and law enforcement)

As for my sayings at the end of my posts, they are just random thoughts or things that I see on a food container or somethign along those lines, they used to be cryptic, but then I changed that to somethign like this;

That came from a Vince Lombardi speech that is printed out and hanging in front of me here in the office. "What does it take to be number one" There really isnt any meaning to any of what is said, just random thoughts. Take that as you may.

I will say however that he stopped posting here because of the same exact thing that disapointed me in your previous post Doug, the outright lack of respect that is given a member because of who people think he might be or who he is associated with, and I think your familiar as to what the derogatory post was that made BTJ stop posting.
