Question IAC module

Could someone give me some instructions on how to remove and clean the IAC module.. I've read post where several people seem to be doing this..Also if anyone have any pics of what this part looks like just for reassurance.. I'm thinking its the part on the passenger side right next to the intake.. A silver cylinder piece with a few wires coming from it? thanks

What do you guys clean this thing with?

sorry no pic but its easy enough to find. Look at your intake and look where the air flows. There has to be a point where the intake breaks off in FRONT of the throttle plate, probably hits a baffle box of some sort and then hits a small cylindrical silver piece with a connector on it the goes back into the throttle body. Should just be 2 or 3 bolts, pull it off, and i cleaned it with brake cleen but ive heard wd40 and or carb cleaner.
