Winter Tires for a Lightning
Yes they will fit. You have the same boltpattern. You cant go any smaller then 16 inch because of brake size. Whenever possible try to test fit the rim. Get some nice snow tires that are a little taller then stock. Be light on the gas and have lots of patience. Either that or buy a winter beater.

I actually used a set of the stock F150 17" aluminum wheels and 31" tires (goodyear ATS) from a 2001 4x4 F50 last winter and they worked great! I got all for for 200 bucks and they have about 15K miles on them...just had to get new lug nuts. The truck looked like a 4x4 and the speedo was off a bit but they worked perfect. Now I have a work beater (94 Geo metro in perfect condition...AHHHHH!). I am looking to maybe sell the tires/rims but I want to do it local so I am of not much help except to say that the combo works.

I'm telling you - the F1's will be fine in the snow. If I made it through the past 4 winters without any problem, then anyone can. I have no idea how people have troubles with these tires. Save your money.
I have a set of Artic Alpin mounted on 16" steel wheels. They were bought new from Tire Rack for a 2001 L(14mm stud) and have one snow season on them. They are yours for 250+shipping. Shipping won't be cheap, but I can look into it if you'de like.
The difference between the F1's and the real snow tires was night/day IMHO.
email me if interested.
