Vin code on Lightning to distinguish them

I know the old mustangs were "Q" code or "KR" code.

what letter in the Lightning Vin, Makes it a Lightning?

Of do they have a completely different VIn then all other Ford Pickups.

The 5,6,7 position designates body style.
Should be an F07.

Easiest way for me though is the 8th digit.
All 5.4 S/C trucks are a 3.

I also think that the first digit denotes a special vehicle???

At least that is what I heard....

damn I wanted something kewl.


couldn't they insert an "L" code into the VIN
