Hi all, my Mustang GT got hit again.. I was t-boned in my parking lot.... so I'm now looking at my dream truck and found a dealership willing to work with me on a 2004 Lightning on X-Plan.. I need a pin and I plan on doing this tomorrow.. so PLEASE Help a poor sap out... I'll place you on my Hero's list...

THE X-PLAN CAN'T BE USED FOR SVT VEHICLES

 

im pretty sure it can, ive read several posts on people who have bought their L's through x-plan and i believe the price of the 03's on x-plan was $29,xxx ... also ctupton im sure someone can get u a pin... just dont rush it...

It is up to the dealer if they want to accept X plan for SVT.. the local dealer said If I was truely serious they would allow it, on any vehicle on the lot including the Lightnings.. they have 2.. an 03 and 04 both Mineral Grey... I'm going for the 04...

Problem is insurance company is jerking me around... I'm loosing the rental car tomorrow because my insurance check finally got too me.. and so I'll be carless... which is reason I'm panicing.. didn't expect insurance company to give me such crap since if I was going to get it fixed then I have until Oct 18th (or until car was fixed) to use rental car..

Just purchased my wifes 03 cobra a few months back for x-plan, I can find Lightnings on x-plan all day long... its truely up to the dealer.

 

It is up to the dealer as there is one here who will sell the cobra and the L on xplan. While I am posting I will let you guys know a little secret..the variety club(for kids) is a charity like ronald mcdonald house or jerry's kids. For a 75 dollar donation you can get xplan pins and the donation is taxdeductible. I checked into it when my truck was totalled and its a good thing..helpin a kids charity and helpin your wallet AND you can write it off! You can find it by searchin google or what not. I have not yet find a main national site but several local sites ie varity club of chicago ..etc.
It might take a few weeks to get it this way but you might consider it if nothin else works out

Well got a truck today.. ended up not getting a lightning.. test drove the new FX4 and although it doesn't have the power of the Mustang GT that I had or the power of the Lighting it is SWEET!

Thanks for everyone's help.. unfortunate I was unable to get one and use it in time but still got a good deal I feel... 31,400 for the Bright yellow, extended cab with 5.5' bed and black interior
