It was good to see some of the area L guys. DynoTex Racing has a very nice and clean shop.

Even with the 6# pulley, my a/f is still safe. Using a tail-pipe sniffer my a/f ratio stayed below 11.5 to 1 from 4000 rpms to 5300 rpms and dropped as low as 11.0 to 1 at 4400 rpms.

My numbers ended up at:

383.0 hp
476.7 tq

When the weather cools off, we need to hit the tracks.

Hey guys... wish I would have seen this in time. I live in S.A. and have a 2003 L (white, lowered with Roush kit). I have a Bassani catback, JDM Engineering cold air kit and just put in a JDM superchip. Very curious to see what it dyno's at.

The chip has me a little worried though... the shift points are WAY over redline now... close to 5600 rpm. They guys at JDM say no worries, it can handle that just fine... still makes my butt pucker when I hear it wind up to that pitch.

When do you guys plan to get together again, I'd love to join in!

Tim

Let's all get together at my house next weekend and have a mod day. If anyone needs to hit the dyno I can arrange that as well.

Who's in? Todd!?! You know you need a pulley now bro.

So what do you guys say? Mods, dyno time, and some beers?

BTW: My Lightning brothers need to start coming to my parties. Here is what happened last weekend: Party at The Man House video (~22MB)

Sounds good........... If I get my parts this week I'll join the mod party. I would like to check my AF on the dyno after my new mods.

Damn Steele can't make it! Working the turnaround right now. We should be through in a couple more weeks. I definitely want to make one of those parties . Your right it's time for a pulley and a chip but I'm gonna need some help. You up for that Bro? I'll give ya a shout when we get through with this freaking turnaround. Later Bro!

Todd,

If you ever need some help, PM me. I go down to Corpus quite often; and I've helped some of my less mechanically inclined friends with their mods. I just installed a couple of pulleys on a couple of friends' trucks two weeks ago. Having never done this before, I can certainly attest to how hard it is to loosen that crank bolt.
