Went to a couple of tracks last night!!

Went to are local track for T & T and there having a huge 10.5 tire outlaw class and pro mods so it was pack!!

The only run I got it went a 8.10 @ 86.38 mph with a 1.78 60ft. That was the first time ever on hoosiers. I kinda babied it out of the hole so with a little more practice it's got a 7.9 EASY!

Then we decided to pack up go to 1/4 mile track it was like 2 hours away. Well I get there and they are having a street class where you have to run radial tires. So I get in it! Well first run I run a Ls1 Trans AM I run a 12.998 @ 108.67 with a Aggh 2.19 60ft on nitto's! Beat him pretty bad next up was a c5 vette I ran a 12.986 @ 108.21 with again 2.13 60ft. So I get to the finals and have to run a blown sprayed mustang! I got smoked he went a 12.2 @ 115 to my 13.002 @ 107.85 again terrible 60ft like 2.18.

This was a import / midnight maddness deal where all street cars come and play everything you can think of was there. So I guess thats my excuse for the horrible 60ft's!

Other than the B/S and time wasted on the road
It sounds like a Great Night to me
Wish we even had a track that allowed racing at night.

Sounds like those Hoosier's hooked great for you,
That 86.3 MPH could've netted you a 12.5 in the 1/4
Personally I've never raced 1/8 mi and have no desire to, but
THATS FAST as schitt for only a 6lb pulley
CONGRATS

Sounds a blast, good job.
Night racing is fun, the only way here with the high temps in the day.

So you got second place? That's awesome. Did you get a trophy? Does first place still get $100? I've been meaning to go to Steele and check Midnight Madness out. Haven't made it yet.

I'm going to watch the Outlaw cars today. I heard they had over 90 cars signed up since the 1st place payout was $20K. Can't wait to watch that many cars try to qualify for 36 slots while running in the 4's in the 1/8th!

I dont usually go to the tracks because i am racing my late model every weekend. But we are off every now and then so we could meet up one week when im not racing. I have only been to the track one time last Feb it was a 1/8 mile and i ran a 8.12@86mph with just a chip, drop in KN and 4 lb pulley but it was like 40 out that day.
