Lo-tek Triple On 03 L?

I was going to install my triple gauge pod I had on my 99 L last night but with the oh ***** handle it does not look like it will work. I'm sure someone here has found a way. Looking for advice.

Lo-Tek makes a dual pod that you can keep the handle

None of the triple pods will allow you to keep the handle. But why would you want to? These trucks are low enough to just step in.

I don't give a ***** about the handle. I just want to know what has to be done to install the triple on an 03 L. Tim, on your web site you talk about modifying the pod and if I read it right screwing the pod on?????????

You have to trim the top extensively. Don't worry, though -- it's not that difficult. Just use a utility knife and take a little at a time. Then sand the cut edge with some sandpaper.

The pod goes on with two wood screws. You have to drill two holes in the a-pillar.

Thanks Tim,

I got it installed today. Mine did not have any screw holes in it at all (I had it installed in my 99 L and it snapped in). I just drilled a hole to go into the top threaded hole that the oh ***** handle bolts to. I timmed the top with a pair of tin snips. On the 99 I had water temp, oil pressure, and boost. This time I installed water temp, boost, and trans temp.
