You don't!
If I REALLY want to change them down the road, i will remove the mirror and drill a hole into the blinker housing and install some red leds.

Gives it a nice custom look, and blends in well with the rest of the truck. My only concern would be if somebody hits your mirror and cracks the cover, then you have to replace the whole mirror rather than the cover and as somebody mentioned, you can't change the light. I like the sanded and smoothed body though. Nice touch.

The covers where taken off then the insides where filled with plastic weld. Before the plastic weld could set we reinstalled the covers. They aint going nowhere! When the plastic weld set, we filled all the seams with 3 layers of JB Weld. It will be hard to crack them.

The first person that walks into my mirrors at a show/meet will be receiving a face pounding and will owe me a large sum of money.

Now that looks good... finally good looking mirrors. I really dislike the small aftermarket mirrors people are installing... but these are awesome! I think that I will attempt that over the winter. How was it to paint?

Me and a friend did all the prep work, had another local truck guy paint the mirrors. The painted was baked on and a ton of clearcoat was applied.
The prep time for each mirror is huge. I would roughly estimate 15hrs a piece.
It took me around 4 months to complete.

I never even knew they Blinked til after a yr later.
We were making the road trip to Cecil and I kept seeing Gator,
Pawn, and the Capt's blinking, when I asked they said,
yours blinks too

There is no way of seeing them blink from inside the truck
so how was I to know
