grillcraft and street scene ???

Does anyone have a Grillcraft or Street Scene Grill on their truck? I want to know if both of them go in place of not over the existing grill. Also does the street scene grill come with the hole in the middle for the Ford emblem. I am very interested in the Grillcraft one in Black but I want to make sure it goes in place of the existing honeycomb grill on my Lightning.
Any input would be great.

Thanks

I have a Street Scene grill on my '01 and this was before they came out with the '01 and up grills. The Street Scene grills are made to go over the stock grill...which I thought looked like shyte. The lower grill insert is easy as it can just be zip-tied to the bolt holes that previously held the stock lower grill insert. The upper grill was more of a pain in the ****...I had to reshape the edges of my Street Scene to get it to fill the area where the stock insert went. Once I had done that I just used some zip ties on it to the 'mounts' for the stock grill that I had drilled holes in. It sounds much harder than it is and I could do another in probably an hour if I had to. There is no hole in the middle for the emblem...you just reuse the big plastic nuts that held it in the stock grill insert and it will bolt right up to the Street Scene (you could used double-sided 3M tape too). Don't know about the Grillcraft grills but I assume they are similar to the Street Scene grills.

Shoot me an e-mail if you have any other questions.

Dan

No emblem...

Ive got the street scene grills. They look good, but the clips they come with won't work. Like Struck said use zip ties. My main grill is held in place with a bolt behind the emblem. I didnt think of zip ties at the time. The grills will need to be "reshaped" to fit the trucks opening.

so you can use it with the emblem by unbolting the emblen and then bolting it back on with the street scene grill in between it like a washer?
It looks good.

Thats with the main grill in and the bumper grill out. You could possible take the main grill out and rework the edges of the SS grill to fit the bigger opening, but the bumper grill has to come out the SS grill is to big to fit with it in.

OK
IM still trying to decide what I want to do. The Grillcraft doesnt have any listing for a lower valance for the Lightning so thats most likely out of the question.

Thanks
