Question Stupid question but...

Since I am in Japan and my truck is in Hawaii can anyone tell me if the front brakes are bigger than the back brakes. I need to know overall diameter. Thanks in advance.

why are the rears larger. i thought front brakes were always larger because they handle most of the stopping load. i have wondered this since day 1

The calipers and brake pads are 'larger' with more clamping power than the rears.

Dirt,
OT, but where are you at in Japan? I'm also a displaced L driver in Yokosuka, but only for another week or so. Just getting ready for the typhoon on Monday.

Oh Japan Spent 3 years at Yokota in 5AF as the Deputy LG and Chief of Log Plans. Went to Misawa and Kadena every month.

YES.... 15 inch wheels on the rear for drag slicks requires the calipers to be ground.

I already have 16" rims for the rear. I am talking about 15" fronts.
