Thumbs up New tuning software on the Horizon!!!

Looks like there will be some great software hitting the market soon to allow the tuners that are lucky enough to get it to a far better job tuning our trucks.
From what I have read and seen, the guys that put this together are the best in the business!!!
I have had my truck personally tuned by these guys and they have their act together.

Very cool-I love the idea of sapping the motor for all its worth BEFORE throwing on the 6#er, chip etc etc etc. I hope all these "Ideas" come into fruition rather than staying hopelessly locked in r&d like some other electronic tuning devices Ive heard great rumors about....

Looks awesome, you can use your desktop or laptop. You would load your program into a flasher or burn it onto a chip depending on the kit you purchase.

Using a laptop wouldnt be bad especially if it plugged into your OBDII connection under your steering column. THis is how I used DSMlink software in my old eclipse. And the best part is usually software like this you dont need a fast laptop at all. So you can buy a used one for cheap money.

This New tuner kit will not be cheap!! Some were in the few
thousand dollar range. This set up will be more for a tuner
shop.

From the referenced thread:

"There will be two things offered. One will be a tuners package. This is similar to stuff out there. Say Autologic. Except it's supposed to be MUCH better.

The other product will be similar but will be sold to individuals. It will allow you to do the same type tuning on your own car. It will only work with one car."

Maybe the one-car-only version will be afFORDable.

this is one of those things that can be a good thing if the power is used right and with the right tuning.
