Unfortunately I am selling my truck. We are building a house and it will make things much easier without the truck for now. I'd like to be back in the game soon, but take a break for a while. I'm going to put it on ebay next week. A Harley truck with less mods went for $40k a month or so ago.


2001 Ford Lightning, Silver, 3000 miles on the truck. The motor was pulled and built with 600 miles on the odometer. It was built professionally with no shortcuts. The only parts I will be removing from the truck are the air/fuel meter and possibly the Zex kit. The nitrous was run once with a 55 shot to cool things down. The truck is 100% pefect. The modifications on the truck add up to well over $20k.

Harleys sticker near $40k and I think the guy you are referring to had the fasted HD at that time. I'd say 33-35K.

I would say the truck is worth over 40 k mabye 42-45. Eric's truck is beauitfull!! The rollcage is just awsome as well as the rest of the truck of which eric has put some very nice special touches in.

You've got a real nice truck and it's a shame you have to get rid of it. But if it wasn't for the best, you wouldn't be doing it right? Anyone can tell you that $40k in a house will get you a lot farther than $40k in a car! I don't blame you one bit for getting rid of the Lightning. You covered a lot of ground and you had a lot of fun with that thing over the years haven't you??? You must of had a blast doing all the things you did to it and I'm sure it was worth every penny.
