chip, pulley, air filter

What would be the best combo(by brands) or are they all a good mix, are there any mixes to stay away from?

Airforce 1 filter kit, 4# ASP cageless pulley, Superchip flip chip in my truck. I like the combo. I briefly considered a 6#, but went a little safer to start with. Maybe down the road I'll bump up and get a custom dyno tune.

Don't forget new spark plugs if you get a pulley.

Everyone has their preferred setup. The main thing is being comfortable with the vendor you're dealing with. Call around for some package prices, someone might cut you a deal.

You just asked a loaded question, what I would do is call each of the tuners and decide who you are most comfortable with.

As to who to stay away

I dunno the 5lb lower sure is the best safe land I could find.

And fine a nice cold air setup with some custom cold air ducting too.

You DEFINITELY want to add JDM to that list.

Some people bad mouth/hate JDM with some of their experiences. I have been very pleased with them. Have all their stage 1 and Stage 2 minus the elec. fan and waterpump. And my silver bullet is not rusty either. Still is as good as new. Just my 2cents worth.

I use the PSP Fast Air, JL's 5 lb pulley, and I have three chips: JDM(Superchips), JL(Diablo), and PSP(Autologic). Currently running JDM's chip.

I have a 6#, a diablo flip chip, and a jlp cold air kit. I had the chip tuned conservatively for the street, and had a fairly hot program for the strip. This setup really woke my truck up. From my experience the next thing I would do is open up the exhaust. Good luck

Mod's

I went with JDM's 4# caged pulley setup I liked the idea of the cage like stock also you can change rings later if you want. Also like Superchips and the Airaid filter box setup fits well stay away from just hanging a cone filter under your hood too much hot air and dirt. check out my gallery for air filter pics
