I'm looking for a new radio for my 2000 Lightning. Are the radios out of the mustangs and rangers the same thing, Harness wise. I see a bunch of mp3 and indash cd changers for mustangs on ebay. Just wondering, because I don't wont to buy something that won't work without modifying the wire harnes

You might wanna get an aftermarket head unit. Like pioneer mp3 player. You can get an aftermarket wiring harness and plug it into your factory harness so you don't have to modify the factory plug.
