What combination will give me the meanest, harrshest, loudest exhaust I can get? Am I best to go with a full exhaust or can I accomplish this without the works?

 

long tubes no cats and silver bullit, or no mufflers if you want the absolute loudest

who makes the best headers?

 

I'm running JDM's silverbullet exhaust with their Kooks headers. It sounds really mean and it's only loud when you want it to be. It may take a while for them to get it to you (took me a good 4 weeks) but I think it's worth it. I also put everything on myself with no problems, it's very easy. P.S. - if you don't run headers you'll lose horsepower because these trucks run best with a little backpressure...I've seen tests of Lightnings with headers a catback and no cats and they actually lose horsepower...go with some highflows at least.

 

trust me guys, JDM02SVT (chris') truck sound mean as hell when he's on it but quite tame otherwise. people stand up at the track when he runs. he's a local celeb
