Talking Thanks PSP (SAL)!!

I have had many chips and different programs since I first got my truck back in 99'. From off the shelf Diablo chips to Tuner programmed Super chip chips. They were not bad but there was always something I didn’t like about them. Some would shift too hard at any RPM; others would shift way to high etc. So this is not a flame against any of those tuners I got chips from in the past

So I went chip less for about 15K miles totally giving up on chips. Well I got some speeding tickets and needed to get my Speedometer Recalibrated. After having no luck in finding a shop or Ford dealer to perform this work on my truck I decided to get a chip again.

I went with the person I had never got a chip from, SAL at PSP. After hassling him a lot on AIM asking a ***** load of questions I finally bit the bullet and ordered a chip from him.

Gave him my list of mods, and told him to recalibrate my speedometer and to give me a MILD TUNE. I told him all of the things I had not been happy with on my previous chips and assured me I would be happy with his chip.

Ordered last Friday received that Monday. Got it installed by Spanky AKA "Crash". It has only been a few days with the chip on but, I focking love it! Shifts perfectly, Speedometer is almost dead on, and the extra power is there. For the first time I feel that the chip is helping this old work truck instead of hurting it.

Here is to Sal and another 100K miles, (98K right now )

With all the negativity against tuners and they're lack of service lately, it's nice to see a positive post once in a while, especially when it's true. Some people don't like to see these post and feel it's the so called tuner groupy's that post them, (sometimes it is)
Lets face it, we all know the Hi Profile Big Money Spending L owners always get the service, it's the small sales that set customer service apart IMO, AND Sal's ALWAYS willing to talk AND LISTEN to the L community, no matter who you are, or if and how much you spent with him. He's also the ONLY vendor that answers normal post,
(The others only answer or show up when attacked)

Unfortunatly I met Sal after I already had two Diablo Chips, and my pulley's so I don't have his parts there, but he doesn't hold that against me and has always been a pleasure to deal with, is always honest with me, and has even let me run to his house and pick up a part when I was in a bind. He even hooked me up with one of his customers that had just sold their L and was selling parts (got my Hoosiers, Rims, and Truck Traks from him).
When I ordered my Nitrous Plate, he advised me to wait an extra week for his newest design, I did, and it worked out great,
JUST AS HE PROMISED.

BEST OF LUCK BLOWN
And Hats off to Sal / PSP
HE IS ONE OF THE GOOD ONES
