Arrow SS Roll Pan Question...

I should be recieving my street scene roll pan, from the group buy at FTW, and just looking for any helpful hints on its install.

i know ill have to pre-fit this before painting, but did anyone need any major modding to make it fit perfect? problems painting it? etc.

thanks!

Nope...no problems mounting or painting... I did use a Billet specialities license plate frame that has the built in light. I also use two straps that mount at the bottom holes of the license frame that go back and up to mount to the frame. I did this for some reinforcement so the bottom of the bumper will not want go backwards especially at high speeds. The bumper is very very light..

This is something I have noticed after reading these forums for a while now. When someone asks the question, "How much did you have to pay for that?" I have very rarely seen an answer. Is there any reason why people don't post how much they paid for an item?

I have a question about the mounting -- does it use the bumper reinforcement or just the mounts for the bumper reinforcement? I ask because i am wondering whether if i buy this i can toss my bent bumper reinforcement or i have to buy a new one....

thanks!

well its a group buy so the price changes as more people sign on for it.

I have already gotten mine, and was charged the "Opening Price plus Shipping." When the group buy ends, if it dropped into a lower priced tier, then they simply credit back your card the difference.

read up more here on this group buy www.fordtruckworld.com under the group buy section, or wait for the banner to appear on the main page.

Helpful enough GRIMACE?

well my rear bumper was just a metal bumper held to truck with (4) bolts to a bracket attached to frame. There is no reinforcement bars or plate behind that. Keep in mind, i have a Harley truck, not an L.

with the SS roll pan, all i had to do was remove the (4) nuts holding bumper on, and dissconnect the two license plate plugs from the back. SS then just lays flat up against back of truck, held on with screws, and in some spots double sided body tape.

you can load the driections for your truck over on the street scene web site.

group buy is open to bunch of different ford truck models!
