I don't know that much about engines so that is why i am asking---

If the new engine will supposedly have 3v heads-- can you just put those and the cams on our engines or whatever else it needs??Or is the block totally different? that is disregarding all the computer related issues that would arise too....

I was wondering if this would even be beneficial too.....

I wouldn't hold your breath on the 2005L. It will be more like 2006 and I would say no on the interchangeable parts.
