...off the truck, just a pic of the pod?

Anyone have a pic of a triple pillar pod for a pre 2002 1/2 lightning? I need to compare the one I purchased from Lotek to a pic of what others look like.

I think you have asked a trick question. To the best of my knowledge, there is only one Lotek triple pod and one Auto Meter triple pod and neither fit the post-mid-2002 pillars without trimming. So, AFAIK whichever one you have is the same that everyone else has.

 

That's what I thouht also however, I sent a link to your website to show them what your pod looked like. They told me yours is for a 2002 1/2 to 2003 L. I'm really confused because mine does not fit at all. They said they changed the mold and I may have the new stlye one instead of the old style. I just can't get the thing to fit, it's too short.

Mine was a regular LoTek pod which I trimmed myself.

if your is too short, then they must have made a new version and sent you the wrong one. Isn't there a casting # in the inside? can't you just measure the thing tip to tip? I don't think that a photo would tell you much, as one will look the same as the other, just an inch or two shorter.

 

No casting number, I checked but I will measure it tip to tip and let them know. The weird thing is that piece that extends into the door jamb is 2 inches longer than the one you installed. I think mine is just wrong.
