Naw, some of this is pretty silly to even try to debate in a sense. With JJ coming to table its just a waste to post good data as the thread will be on its way to lockville.

I like the choice of having 4 blowers to choose from if you count yours into the mix. I think each 4 will find a niche into whatever someone is building. With proper researh someone can build an exceptional combination for little $$ im betting. Just need more factual data on your blower strapped to a stock block truck to see where it stands with the current 3 and what power curve it has.

Thanks for sharing what you can at this time.

BTW. Steve and Doug have it out for me, so if what Douglas says is true about being part of the " rotten core ", dont expect to see me posting here after Lfest when i get banned. Im sure im listed in the half dozen or so people.

I got tired of reading through the BS so hopefully this is new info. Magnum is made very near to where I live. Several of us local Lightning owners have spoken to the owner of Magnum. What they did is developed a new, machined from billit blower case and install the stock (yours) eaton rotor pack in the new case. The new case is designed in such a fashion that the rotor pack is moved forward making it act as a rear entry blower. By moving the rotor pack forward the snout had to be made shorter in order to keep the proper belt alignment. That is how the sell a "new" blower for $1200. Or whatever the price is now. Several months ago the price quoted was much less than that. Perhaps now they are supplying the units complete with rotor pack. Not sure. At the time they need your Eaton first then would ship you back the assembled Magnum.

The pictures of that case look like cast not billet. You sure about that part Doug?

I know the first units were billet. Perhaps they were just the proto-types. You are right the photo looks more like a cast case.
