Question Opinions PLEASE

http://www.ajaxauto.com/new_page_1.htm

its a 2002 with 14k miles....bags deployed but has a clear title.....and since im at college i figured if he did want that much $$ for it i could buy it and fix it over time as i got more money. Any mechanics or autobody guys here who could maybe look and give a quick estimate cost of repair? thanks in advance guys.

and yes i know it is in CA and im in NJ

You may be better off finding a high mileage 99 Lightning. It will be a little more money, but you can drive it as you fix it up. Just a thought.

Unless you have built a wreck before and have access to parts cheap I think I would skip on that one. It looks to me like the frame has already been done but the radiator support is beat pretty bad and the radiator went into the fan etc. could be alot of hidden cost in the front of the motor alone. Have you contacted them? does it "run" at all?

18,000 for a wrecked Lightning ? By the time you get done fixing it you will be into in way more than if you would have just shelled out the money for a nice one.
Ebay is flooded with Lightnings...... I can't imagine why you would consider buying a wrecked one when a nice one can be had for not a whole lot more money.
