New Lightning Owner!

Whats up guys! I just sold my modded '95 M3 on Friday and picked up a beautiful red '99 Lightning tonight! I am so stoked! The intercooler recall has been done, it has powdercoated black trendz billet grills, SHM blower pulley (anyone know how much boost that adds? I think it's 2 or 3), K&N air filter, dynomax muffler, and SHM mass air (how can I tell if it's 90mm?). I have loved the 2nd gen Lightnings forever and now I finally have one! Only 32k miles on the body and 18k on the motor that was replaced under warranty (intercooler leakage into the cylinder). The truck still has 1 1/2 years left under an extended warranty too.

Heres a couple of threads I posted just so you can see the respect Bimmer drivers give the L:

Let me be the first to say congrats on the purchase. Sounds like you got some good mods already done to it. There's always room for more though.

Thanks alot guys! I just had a couple questions for you.

1. The L has a big K&N cone filter (no box) but how can I see if the mass air meter is 90mm? The guy wasn't sure if a 90mm was included with what he said was a "SHM mass air flow kit".

2. Anyone know how much boost the SHM blower pulley puts out? I ran a search here, checked the SHM website, and called them (no one picked up). Couldn't find the answer.

Thanks in advance!

(P.S. getting the fuel filter changed today after checkin out a few threads and considering the boost-bypass mod )
