was going down the highway and saw this 2000 comaro black real nice, licence said LS1-SLP, thing sounded real good, at first i really didn't want any trouble because i figured i would loose
so i gradualy start to pass him "we are on an eight lane and are about 2 lanes apart" well i hear him down shift and get on it so i floor it, "we are at about 55" and i was suprised we stayed neck and neck all the way through third about 110, well the8 lanes then come into four lanes and i am in the slow lane he slowly pass me and i get behind him, next thing we come to a red light there was another car in the other lane so i had to stay behind him, light turnes green and he goes, so i go and i catch up so fast i had to gwt into the slow lane and when i came out of first into second i was right beside him and when i left secont to third i his nose was at my rear fender, and at about 120 or so we shut em down, he then passes me and honks the horn and waves, we get to the next redlight and he is turning so i pull up and tell him his car sounds real good, SLP he said "yea it is but ,damn that thing is fast" i say thanks i appreciate it and drive on.
and it was a six speed so i was more than happy. it was also 63 low humidity

yea ive noticed anywhere in the 60's if i punch it at 30MPH the tires will spin for about 15 feet and chirp second,,,,,can't wait till i get tat 2cr

 

wow, SLP's are fasttt assss cars....they are rated at 345 HP, and some say they are faster than corvettes, because of the better rear end, and better gearing. But then again, its hard to compete with a 5lb lower.

it's so funny....I didn't even really know lightnings existed back in 2001 when I bought my LS1 camaro. I was out cruising on the road and I saw this badass f150 pull up next to me and the guyglanced over. I was thinking "yea, that's right bitch...appreciate the camaro!" and then he took off and blew exhaust all over me from that badass exhaust. all I could hear was a wonderful sound of a blower whine and a great sounding 5.4 Liter and I thought "WTF was THAT!?!" lol....now I know, and I just had to have one!!!!
