Angry NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Help!

I just busted the head off of the bolt for a coil pack. Luckily, its the first one on the passenger side and theres like 1\2 an inch sticking and its very accessible. How do I get this thing out?

Broken bolt

Use an "Easy Out", if you can't get it with the "vise grips". In case you have not used one, you drill a "small" (depending on size of bolt) hole in the broken end of the stud and the "easy out" fits into the hole and "grips" the metal inside the hole and you should be albe to un-screw the stud. They are sold at Sears or Hardware stores around here. Good luck!

haha

no way in hell your gonna use an easy out on those. First of all if you have thread sticking out see if you can get two nuts on there and back the bottom one off to loosen it up. If not, vise grips. Worse case you'll have to drill it out and retap the hole. Have to ream out the coil pack hole too. Good luck but it's in an awfully tight place to be drilling and using easy outs on something that small.

Id make drilling my last option, if your not perfectly aligned you will eat the threads in the hole and realy be screwed.....try to turn the broken part out with a fine screwdriver or something than put your visegrips on......

I did that to my truck with only a couple hundred miles on it. It won't hurt to plug in the coil pack and leave it that way until you have time to mess with it. The coil pack won't pull away from the plug.
