just installed FTVB...need help

Installed the factory tech valve body today and everytime it shifts I hear a small belt slipping noise. Sounds like the blower belt...not sure though. Could is be something else? If it is the belt slipping, is it a way to tighten that belt.

Also does not turn tires over from the 1 to 2 shift much. I think it has once or twice but not consistent. From what I have read everyone says it barks the tires pretty easy on the 1-2 shift. Is it possible that I am loosing some power during shifts if the blower belt is slipping?

I am stock except for K&N fliter and silver stars.
Any help would be great.

Since you are mostly stock it is not going to bark the tires as much as a chip/pully truck would, and the traction bars most of us run(rancho style) probably lead to it a little. If you have stock suspension the will actually be a little bit of axle wrap when it hits; it could lead to a broken drive shaft if it were to get bad enough. My suggestion for you next mod would be some form of traction bars.

Oh, If you want bark them at the shifts find some fresher pavement; try it at WOT, and also try it where it shifts at about 4,000 RMP You should get a nice little bark/spin.
