Good luck with it.

Actually, get it polished, then install it

exactly what I was thinking, might as well spend a few bux to get her polished while its out of the truck. You have the perfect oportunity to do it since you probably still have your eaton installed. You will be the only guy out there with a polished Works blower, go for it man.

If you get it polished make real sure to block every possible opening into the blower off. If you don't the blower will need to be rebuilt, ask me how I know this.

Powdercoating would be a lot easier than polishing.......

Depends on what works good on the street, I think I will try a #4 lower and a 2.7 upper which is what it came with. That should be good for about 14 psi. Between the blower and a 50 shot, I should have no trouble making it to the 500/600 mark. For any warranty reasons, I don't think I would mess with changing the plenum, as in powdercoating or polishing. There is a local guy who did the ribs on his Eaton plenum, which is what I will more than likely do if anything.

With alot of time you can do it yourself. I've done some small stuff and TampaBlack99 did his whole blower. To send it away is some money $$$$$ It's a very time consuming process.

Also, polishing holds in more heat which can hurt performance. By how much a whole polished blower would hurt performance/hold in heat, I don't know and never saw anyone post any real numbers.

Personally I am not into all that bling stuff. Theres some guy with totally polished blower, (Hilander remind me to tell you about him if you read this) and he said it gets black really easy.
