I was looking for a gen 1 engine. I found one for $2200 from a 95 L. Is it worth it? I thought it was high, but I guess for a complete engine I dunno? What do you guys think? Or does anyone know of where else I can look?

 

That's a tad high. With everything, does that mean long block, intake, heads, wiring, all accessories? I'd try to talk it down to 2K, or maybe even around 1900. How many miles are on it? rebuilt?

I bought one about 15 months ago, long block with all accessories and wiring, complete pull-out '93 L engine with 75K miles, for around $1400, and I knew it was a steal at that price
There are a few on NLOC for sale now, I believe, in the Gen1 Parts.

 

Ya, it would be as complete as I need. (need no sesors wiring or anything else) I was going to say 2 just to see if he bit, but I thought that was still high.
