Unhappy L is sputtering

While turning a corner from a stop sign this evening my truck began to sputter. Almost like it was either too rich (pooling of fuel though never seen it in a efi engine) or it wasn't getting enough fuel. I was at 1/2 throttle when it happened. I let out of it and it came back to life. Any ideas? Fuel filter maybe? I am going to change it tommorrow before I go to work. It drove fine after that.

It could be the fuel filter if it has 8,000 miles or more on it. It could be the IAC if you were at idle rpms.

Since you have a 99, it could be a fuel pump line clamp that has come loose---hope not .

If I had to say, it might be a coil pack. Have Autozone do a diagnostics test on it.

Changed the fuel filter today and noticed that the rear axle seals on both sides were leaking and I mean leaking bad. Replaced them too and now the L seams to be back to normal. I think the guy who used to own my L put too much rear end oil in the rear b/c when I opened it to check the level it spewed out. I think that caused the seals to go bad. Thanks for the help.

No I didn't take any pics due to the fact I was planning on just changing my fuel filter so I didn't take my camera with me to my friends shop. If you have never seen seals leak I might can find a pic of another type vehicle to scan and show you in one of my repair books that are scattered all over the house.
