Freeway damage!
Freeway damage!
Well I havent posted on here in a long time. But guess I'll start again with sad news. Coming home from work something metal fell off a truck and bounced around the freeway, and of course hit me. I tried to swerve around it, but no luck. Enjoy the photos:

well unfortunatley there was alot of cars on the road ... and so I'm not exactly which vehicle it came from .. but no one stopped ... alot of people were slamming on there breaks and swerving around it .. i think it might have hit one other person before me. I pulled over the side of the road to make sure the truck was still drivable, then just went home. No one else stopped. I'm going to my insurance company tomorrow to see what they can do for me.
That sucks a$$
I was on the freeway (no divider) and a VW bug in the opposite lane lost one of it's wheels...it crossed the median and was rolling a good 50mph towards me -going 65mph the other way. I've never stood on the L brakes so hard and it missed me by inches after taking all the door trim off a nissan in front of me. I wonder what a VW wheel hitting an L bumber at 115mph would do.
Scared the chit out of me.

First off I wanna say I am sorry. That thing did quite a number on your truck. That sucks.
Now my stories.
Two Ladders, two days:
Me and a buddy were in a Uhaul pickup going to NY to pick up some Turbo Buick parts for my pops. Well a ladder falls off the truck in front of my, I hit that thing hard, I am sure the Uhaul went air born for a sec, luckily no damage, wish I could say the same for the Caravan behind me. It had one of those factory ground effects kits.
Oh yeah, the Uhaul GMC pickups do killer burnouts. 5.3L!!!!!!!! Yeah.
Next day I am on my way to Indiana to go to Tranny school. Almost the same exact spot of I-95 there is another ladder. This one is opened up and big! Luckier I didn't hit it! But I thought that was weird, two days in a row, two ladders, same spot.
Then we are leaving Louisville to get on I-65 to go up into Indiana and a hot water spa comes out of the back of a pickup truck right next to me!!!!!!! Lets just say it was a weird two days and I was happy to get of the highways once I got to Jeffersonville. -Mat-

I was on the way home from the track a couple weeks ago and the car in front of me ran over what looked like a center cap or something of that size and it was just rolling down the highway so I was just going to straddle it and just before I got to it, it started bouncing and smacked my bumper cover and the grille. It put a quarter size gash in the bumper cover and 3 chips out of the grill surround. I was mad as hell. I've been to 3 shops and the best price to fix it is $350. I think I'll just wait a few months and get one of those fancy ghost flame jobs. I think I'm getting the Vinnie bling fever.
Also, theres no telling how many pieces of truck tire I've ran over on the highway too. Those truck drivers just keep on going as their tire is blowing into hundreds of pieces all over the highway.
