Well, lets put it this way. Some may remember back when someone put a gallon of milk in the bed of my truck under my bedcover, and it rotted, causing a smell, and stain. I was furious. Found out who did it, and lets just say I wasn't allowed back to school for 5 days...

im not a lightning owner, but i have a pretty nice grand cherokee i parked in the lot when i was in HS. I got alot of mixed reviews to say the least from a bunch of assclowns. Maybe its because im a little more mature now, but dont go looking for trouble. The way i see it, if you find out who it is, cool, but its not worth getting arrested for (TRUST ME). In the end, i have had the personal philosophy or what comes around goes around. I hate a good deal of people, but messing with someones personal property, let alone a car, let alone a L, is something that God will reckon if you catch my drift. My .02 from a prospective L owner
Please don't take this as a flame but when I was in high school (mid 70's) only one or two people had new cars or trucks. I can't believe how many high school kids (and yes you are kids and that is not a flame either) drive $30,000 Lightnings! I had two cars in high school.....a 69 Mustang fastback (6cylinder) that was about to rust off the frame and a 68 Camaro convertable (327 four speed) that had a bad top (I had no money to put a new one on so duct tape was the answer). I had to buy my car, all the gas, and if I could not afford to pay for insurance my dad would take my keys away. Most of my friend were in the same boat....they either paid for everything on their car/truck or they drove their mom or dads car. There was no way for me to pay for a new car working for $1.90 per hour (20 hours a week (and none at all during football season)! The world has really changed.

Its hard for me to comprehend. In high school driving a 30k truck with $1200 tires, that gets 12 mpg..
I was in high school right about the same tiime as you... I drove a beater 6 cyl rust bucket firebird my Senior year. The alternator was out. I couldnt afford one and so I charged the battery every night in the driveway. As long as I used NO accessories I could drive it 20 or 30 miles easy and start it 2 or 3 times off one charge. I thought I was hot **** ...
Just a different mindset I guess...
Sure helps me appreciate the Truck I have now.

I wish my mom and dad would buy me a lightning to drive to school! J/K don't get your skivies in a bunch.
When I was in school many moons ago most guys could not afford a used car let alone a L. My best friend had a 70 Camaro he got for 600 bucks. We had to do some bondo work and it only had the straight 6 but it was a car and we put lots of miles on it. I wish it was still around, it would be a fun resto project.

Sorry to hear about what happened! I have heard so many stories about property being destroyed out of jealousy or hate, what ever the deranged reason is there is no justification for it.
I must be getting old, but not only does that guy or group of guys who did this deserve an a** wipping, but if you find out who did it I would have charges pressed against them.
That way year after year as they get older and enter the job market their dumb a** will regret it. You know that box you have to check on a application, "have you ever been convicted of a criminal act?".
Short term stupidity for long term pain. Let that story circulate in school.

boys, boys, boys giving this guy an a$$ wipping is not the way to handle it. why?
1. he might whip your a$$ then you put everyone on notice that it is ok to mess up my truck and whip my a$$.
2. thats letting him of easy, tires versuys an a$$ whipping, next time i need tires bring your $800 plus to my house , give me the money and i will give you first hit. He!! i cut finger, break legs to myself for free.
3. give this peices of cr@p the gift that keeps on giving. find out, who did it, tell the school and get him suspeneded for a week or 2 , that should bring all the grades down, then file charges with the police, should cost the little bastage at least a 1000 or 2000 for a lawyer, mom and dad have to get involved and miss work, then make the claim on insurance, then they can go after him and mom and dad for the money. it all legal and welcome to the real world of taking responsibilty for your actions.
