It's Done and Waiting to be Installed

All my interior/exterior plastic parts are done and ready for pick-up. If i'm lucky my truck might be running this weekend so I can get them. I only have 2 parts left, the roll pan and wiper cowl. I can't decide if I should use the smooth Street Scene Wiper Cowl and Roll Pan or just smooth the stock wiper cowl and the large plastic step on the existing bumper.

Just smooth the factory parts.

I plan on sanding and painting my factory bumper pieces and side steps this fall.

Heres a preview shot for ya.

Thanks Krix.

BTW- All I can tell ya from experience is wait until you put the dash piece on and night time comes. Its like being in an arcade. Every headlight, Street light, Lighted sign, Blinkers , ANYTHING that lights up will reflect off your dash and onto the front windsheild. Its a little weird at first.
almost like having a video game onn your windsheild.
You will get used to it and the compliments are plentiful though.

Enjoy

VINNIE

You will be a lot happier if you smooth the stock cowl. The S/S fit sucks and it interfears with the HVAC. I have had the S/S and will not do it again.

I am kinda leaning towards just smoothing the stock cowl and rear bumper plastic step and just selling the Street Scene garbage.

there is a lot more work involved then just "smoothing" the stock wiper cowl..

mine took a LOT of time; grinding down slats flush, filling each slot, sanding, bondoing, more sanding, then paint.
and thats just one half! then you must attach both and fill that line so it looks all one piece and nice.

im sure there is another easier way, but i like my shiet done right, and looking uits best.
