Starting Problem

This post is for everyone that has problems with their trucks not wanting to start all the time. Several times i have tried to start my truck and the motor cranks and tries to fire, but it takes a while before it actually starts running. I have read before that is has something to do with oil getting in the supercharger and one person even thought pumping the gas would help. Neither of these items have anything to do with the truck not wanting to start. To overcome this problem, you simlpy have to start your truck in nuetral instead of park, and as it is cranking pump the gas. This is because when the truck is in park the converter is in locked position and therefor makes the truck hard to start. Once it is in nuetral, the converter is unlocked, letting the engine turn easier which inturn lets more gas into the cylinders taking care of the problem.

I heard that a failing cam position sensor would cause the truck to turn over a couple times before starting...
