makes it easy to change the plugs. One less part to connect to the manifold or headers. Two less sensors on the left blower bracket. More pollution! I rev my engine next to cars with green peace stickers on them.

Do you remember what thread the cap was that you used to plug the header with after removing the EGR....

eithr cut a few inches away from the the threaded cap and crimp it/weld it up or just weld up the header itself

I tried to use an -12 an cap, but it didn't work. I ended up doing what rdy2rac said. Removing it will throw several trouble codes. That is easily corrected by a chip which is burned to turn off those codes.

If you can get your hands on a bassani coupler that comes with there shorties that worked PERFECT!!! just take one end of it and have a plate welded on the end and you got a perfect cap for your truck, thats what I did and its been great so far for me. I also tried AN fittings and pipe fittiings and nothing seemed to fit right so I just went this route.

Got my EGR turned off in chip......removing it will also take heat away from upper plenum where it ataches to....engine accesability will be lots easier too.....
