finally put the Sylvania Silverstarts in .


they look alot whiter in person and not blue at all. Replaced headlamps and foglights.

 

What did you use for the fog lamps?

 

9005 for fogs and 9007 for headlamps

did the fog light bulbs go in easy or was it hard? being that their not the right size

 

the 9005 are the same size as the factory ones they just dont have the painted tip.

 

99-00 and 01-03 have different size bulbs if thats what your talking about? the 9005's fit the 01-up fine

Do they make the silverstars for the 99-00 foglights???

The part numbers for the 99 to 00 are the same. That was the first thing that I did when I bought my L. For some reason I keep blowing the passenger fog light. I am gonna give the 03 fog lights a shot. Maybe I should have them replaced under warra
nty. Wait a second, I don't have one.

 

Does anyone know if Ford changed the bulbs for the '03 year. The reason I'm asking is that I have the PIAA's in the wifes Expy and seeing them side by side, the L's bulbs do seem very white and bright. It is hard to tell the diff between the two.
