Bump steer? RUSLOW ?!
Bump steer? RUSLOW ?!
OR Tim Skelton?
*EDIT* DRRRRR ! O.k. this kit won't help our tie rods are already on top ! So nevermind ! But has anyone gotten any further with modding a stang kit or a custom one of their own ?
Hey to whomever has some info on the subject..I was just reading about a new little kit coming out from DJM that flips your tie rod ends..Not sure if the are making these for FORD's yet but it looks really interesting( around $100)...I was wondering how bad i would have "bump steer" since i really don't know the effects...I have the Roush suspension kit,Hotchkis front and rear sway kit , and Metco lower trac-links....Can anyone elaborate some more ..I remember Ruslow posting on "bump steer" but i thought i would post this link too...

I tried to find a tapered stud everywhere and was not successful. I spoke with Baer and they mentioned that they “may” have something in the first quarter of next year, but would base it on demand. I commented on the fact that they offer a bump steer kit for the Lamborghini but not the F-150…
Anyway I just received a set of 5/8 bolts and alignment shims from Maximum Motorsports and I will be picking up some proper rod ends and adjustment sleeves this week. The only problem with using a bolt is you must drill out the taper and this cannot be done correctly while the spindle is still on the truck. There is simply no way anyone is going to be able to hold a hand drill straight enough to make everything fit like it is supposed to. Speaking of Maximum Motorsports they seem to have some quite knowledgeable folks and the instructions I received with the bolts on how to both install a bump steer kit and how to adjust the kit to minimize bump steer were very well written and easy to follow.
Keep in mind Pit Stop USA also sells the bolts and alignment shims as well.
