mexico = the shiznit for speeding. If they can catch you in a first gen vw beetle, or you actually pull over, 10 bucks later you're on your way.

i would be really scared taking a lightning or any other nicer vehicle into mexico. Hope you had fun tho and glad you got it back in one piece, i guess you could just outrun em anyway .

But seriuosly, i wouldn't take a vehicle much over 5 k over the border.

I live one mile from the border, and its not really like everyone thinks it is. Its like everywhere, you mess around and you get in trouble. The good thing that since Mexican cops make like $100 a week they accept bribes, but you need to know how to do it. One time I remember I was stoped for going over the limit the cop asked me for my license I showed him a $10 bill all he said is ok but drive slower. I wish cops here where like that.

Good ole Imperial County. Way to hot for my blood. I used to drop off my share of inmates down there to Cent and Calipat.

Which race track do you guys run at down there?

Yes to hot here. Where you work at? We race across the border in Mexicali. Thursday nights its at the 1/8 track and Friday nights at the 1/4 track. I havent been to the 1/4 track yet, ill wait for cooler weather so I can try out the 8# lower that I just put in.

I worked for CDC... Been to the Bay, Corco, and then worked out of Delano in Transportation... Went to the sheriffs dept afterwards.

This was in central Mexico, Guanajuato. Gas was not an issue since the premium there is 93 octane as well. It cost 63$$$ to fill it up though!!!

No fuzzy dice but I am conteplating crushed velvet.

There are alot of nice vehicles in Mexico, I actually had an old model (1999) compared to what was down there. Have to remember that down there, you are either $rich$ or broke as hell, no real in between.

The cops are the best though, no BS. Couple of dolares Americanos and you are on your way.

Just dont fock with the military check points nor offer any cash or you can for sure expect a roughing up.

TEQUILA!
