I saw the commercials and really knew nothing about them. I just like to know. I hate surprises.
Whats funny is Horsepower T.V. was doing a build up today on there 95(?) SS w/ the detuned vette motor and the #s were not that impresssive (210 RWHP)

Mat,
L is coming along good. Should be done very soon. I will post results.

You don't have to worry about anything
Made or Sold in the USA you may roll up on in the Streets

Only a Bigger and Badder Street Driven Lightning
could take you out after your done with this
newest Mod your working on

Yea, i saw that one this morning. They ended up bolting like $2500 in junk and went from 210 hp to 218 or something like that.

We had the Impala SS motor in our CHP cars here for us that worked the deserts. They had some good grunt compared to the vic's and believe it or not, would out run a 5.0.

Neither the Imapala SS or the Monte Carlo SS are anything to worry about. I have driven the Impala SS and it is SLOOOOOWW. I sell Chevys and was excited when we got one in. I was not excited after driving it. Nice car but not a sports car.

that Gibbs truck is supercharged with slightly more hp and less torque than our truck, id still be willing to bet we would still beat it.

"Recipe For excess, Chevy's 395-HP Pickup would run with the best, Chevrolet Silverado SS Concept"

page 24, Autoweek August 18, 2003.

Powertrain: 6.0 liter, 395-hp, 409-lb-ft; rwd, six-speed manual. Curb weight: 4190, 0 to 60: 6.0 seconds (est.)

If there is such a person as a "PromodSilverado" out there this could get really interesting.
